WPYC Annual Dinner

Put on your cleanest foul weather gear and come join us for the WPYC Annual dinner!  On January 24, 2015 we will start with happy hour at the cash bar with beer and wine around 5:00, with dinner being served at 6:00 pm.  Each boat will receive one free meal ticket, additional tickets will be available for purchase at the door for $30 each.  We will have a great time dancing the night away after electing the new members of the board. The attire will be semi-formal. We hope to see you there!

Annual Meeting and New Years Day Race

Bill Grant Memorial Regatta

New Years Day Race Tradition Continues

Come kickoff the new year with us this New Years day January 1st, 2015 by racing in the Bill Grant Memorial Regatta.  Our fleet will take on the lake while the other clubs’ members are still nursing their heads from the night before.  This race has been an informal tradition of ours for many years. Last year we had 12 boats and crew brave the elements for the exhilaration of the first race of the year.  We will have Cpt Meeting at 9:00 and be on the water shortly thereafter.

Meeting at the Yacht Cove Clubhouse 

The Board of Stewards at WPYC will be elected on the 24th at the Annual Meeting.  We encourage all members to attend this event to meet and greet the folks who will donate their time and energy to making this years social events even better.  We will be serving a delicious surf and turf meal with a cash bar, and a DJ to dance the night away.  Each boat at the marina will get one free meal ticket, with additional tickets available for $30. We will begin the night at 5:00 for happy hour, followed by dinner at 6:00.  We hope to see you there!

Annual Oyster Roast

 

Oyster Roast

Come out and join us at WPYC this weekend for food, music, and a race!  The captain’s meeting will be held at 1:00pm.  The oyster roast will start at 6:00pm.  We will serve oysters, shrimp, and burgers.  Dance the night away with a local DJ.  The cost will be $5 per person.  Bring a side dish or dessert to share!

Ship store will be open with new hats in stock!
