Starts at Windward Point Yacht Club
Ends at Wessinger Island

Captains Meeting @ 10am
at WPYC
Regatta Start @ 11am
Pig Roast @ approximately 3pm
(or when race is over)

WPYC’s annual Pig Roast is coming up!  Please mark your calendars for our most popular event.  Note we’re doing this at Wessinger Island again this year.  Hope to see you on the water!

Where: The regatta captain’s meeting will be held at the WPYC pavilion. The race finish line and pig roast will be at Wessinger Island, formerly Counts Island.  The finish line is off the east end of the Island.   Wessinger Island is directly towards Chapin from Bomb island. Look for the raftup.

What: All competing boats MUST register and pay the entry fee at the Captain’s meeting. Please bring a side or dessert to share. We will have a cooler to take all the sides to Wessinger Island before the race. Bring your own beverages. Folding chairs are also recommended.

Remember:  For all WPYC members: This race counts towards an entry in the Waters sail contest!

How much: Regatta entry fee is $30 per boat (includes 2 meal tickets), payable @ the captains meeting.  Meal tickets are $5 a plate for additional regatta crew and those not participating in the Regatta but planning on eating some great food at the Wessinger Island finish line. Kids under 12 eat free.

Needs: Anyone who would like to volunteer to serve food or help with the event would be greatly appreciated.
